As a student, Kenji Tachibana conducted research into optimization algorithms under themes such as genetic algorithms, neural networks and fuzzy logic. After graduating from school, he joined a foreign-owned company called P&G, where he was responsible for a wide range of work, including product research and other research and development on production technologies. He also has experience working as a member of a multi-national team. He specializes in patent application filing, examination responses, judgments (appraisals), and infringement cases in the machinery and electricity fields. He is also well acquainted with patent application filing and examination responses in the U.S. as a result of his experience working at a patent and law firm in the U.S. Recently, Kenji Tachibana has studied cost-effective methods for patent application filing and examination responses in Europe, the United States, China, etc. He has also written many books and articles and given many lectures on this theme.
